FFS, newspapers reporting that women at the Beeb are wanting a pay increase.
What the BBC should be doing is advertising for presenters, no more than £100k a year and see who applies, there's plenty of talent out there looking for work. FFS, thon Rylan an xfactor failure has made the big time, just goes to show how little talent is actually needed. Some people forget if it wasn't for the media they would be unknowns plodding along like the rest of us, those so called stars aren't the be all and end all of tv, they can all be replaced.

You don't have to be good looking either to make it on the telly, even Fred Dibnah had his groupies.(Sm29)

I completely agree. There are replacements everywhere at sensible money. This applies, to the complete dismay, in many areas, of those that feel themselves of superior and irreplaceable value.

If it's not bloody foreigners stealing Oor jobs it's women.

"When they disagreed [with decisions], they shouted at me just the same as if it was a male in the middle.

"As a referee, it doesn't matter if you're male, female or any other difference in you, if the teams and supporters aren't happy with your decisions, they will pick up on something - and unfortunately if you happen to be a female, that's generally what they pick up on first - and they'll make comments regarding that.
"But it all goes back to the decisions made on the field. If you're there and have a good game, you're going to get minimum dissent, just the same as any male would."

I wonder how long it will be before the PC brigade and feminist groups start complaining about things shouted at female refs?

Seen a couple of female 'lineswomen' at Dens in the past, that was a few years ago, they did a decent job, no worse than their male counterparts. Didn't hear any 'sexist' comments tbf.

Didn't noticed any male officials during the women's WC, Why?
