So, after that performance last night, will Everton continue to suck at home? Or, will there be a huge 'response' from the Toffees? Chew on that folks.
An early goal for the Clarets would make it very interesting. Will be glued to NBC Sports Network from 9:15 onwards

More confident of us getting a result than I would be if we were at home.

That is quite a turnaround from last year.

I would like to see us playing 442 with Barnes in there bullying them for the first hour.

0-1, good long ball out left, ball into penalty box headed down played out left again, low ball into Hendrick and as cool as a cucumber slots it home.

A thoroughly deserved victory for the Clarets a great build up to the goal(24 passes) Everton were @#$%& poor and our defence had an easy time most of the game..Takatake was outstanding again..up to sixth now..(Sm152)

Still 6th after Newcastle and Liverpool draw 1-1(Sm152)
During the game the camera zoomed in on a woman, Amanda Staveley, seemingly she brokers takeover deals of football clubs, looks like Ashley could be cashing out.
Earlier on Leeds took a bashing 3-0 from Wednesday, I know their finances have been a bit 'dodgy' for a while, but if they made it back to the EPL, I would think they could be bought out. I was in Leeds a number of years ago on the city tour bus and was surprised when the commentary said Leeds was the third biggest city in Britain, can't think of any other major team around there, so with a bit of success I would think they could get sell out crowds every week. Heard years ago Red Bull were interested in them, not sure if that's still the case.
So much for Brexit patriotism when English football is full of foreign players and investors.

Superb build up to the goal, 24 passes, brilliant. Tarks was awesome. Well done Clarets a resolute defensive display. Definitely no penalties for the Toffees.

Looking at the stats
Away Chelsea 3pts
Tottenham 1pt
Liverpool 1pt
Everton 3pts

Home WBA 0pts
Palace 3pts
Huddersfield 1pt

A bit of a contrast to last season, especially considering the teams you have played away from home so far. No wonder I can't get a coupon up, didn't give you lads much hope away this season. Must rethink my betting strategy.

What a start, what a result, what a goal! Cloud nine time, hope we come back down to earth in time to hammer the Hammers.

Tarks was my worry but he is improving with every game, Arfield is a revelation.....the transformation is more than a surprise. Strikers ??? that needs a bit of sorting.

Sorry to bring this up, but, what if he went?

How much of an impact, (if any) do you think a departure of Dyche would have on the club?

It would have a significant impact - the players are 'his' players, the backroom staff are 'his' staff, the systems operating in the coaching, scouting, recruitment areas are 'his' systems. However, he has put in place an infrastructure that is perhaps more sustainable than Susan Boyle put in place. So he would leave a legacy that perhaps one of his team of lieutenants could pick up. One would hope that Sean would provide Burnley with sufficient notice to implement a successor policy.

It is inevitable that Sean will move on eventually. He has demonstrated management ability with more financial constraints than most other PL managers/coaches. He will be mindful of the David Moyes experience, so he will be very careful about where he goes next. Arsenal might be a good slot in 18 months time, especially if Arsene's tenure ends in tears. Hopefully though we can hang onto him for longer than 18 months. Burnley playing in Europe again would provide him and the club with 'the next level' of opportunity.
