Icy the english game is thinking of a winter break.

I suppose those millionaire players could do with some winter sun, or will the break be used by the clubs to go on some money making foreign tournament?

We have a winter break up here but if this wintry weather continues and games get postponed, we could end up with a hectic schedule to get all games played before the split. Some up here want summer football, that’s a no, no, for me, plenty of things to do in the summer and not enough in the winter as it is.

Dinner time today.(Nane o’ that posh lunch time up here).

FFS man up, met a lad today from days of old, and we reminisced of, well, ‘days of old’ when hail, rain or shine wouldn’t stop us going out. I remember snow lay for days, if not weeks when I was young, hardly get a sprinkling these days. H&S, has turned men into girls blouses, heaven help us if we ever go to war.

Din, din Times today.

Yep ,I can remember there bring 10 foot drifts around our area in winters bygone, you had to dig the milk bottle out of the snow in the backyard and the cream had usually frozen and pushed the milk bottle top off.. Lol

Just got out of Ireland - barely. 28 hour trip through London back to So Cal. Cold here as well - barely 15 for a high today.

Served my time on sites in Inverness back in "days of old"
No inclement weather deals back then. If you did complain
you were quickly told "its the same for all of us, what makes you think
you're so special!"
Happy days.

BC2, the US Virgin Isles are soooooo gosh. Get over to the British Virgin Isles where me and our Sonya holiday and the Kilby millions’ reside all year round for tax purposes.

In town yesterday and the shops and some pubs were closing, ffs it wasn’t snowing inside, perhaps it was zero hour contracts, not busy, send the staff home without pay.

A bit wet and windy this week, at least the rain is making the plants come up roses.

Today the outside stage for the Steps concert this Friday is going up.

Lane closures causing mayhem again, brilliant the NEW road layout.
