Wenger will still have one year remaining on his contract with the Gunners this summer, and according to The Times, the Frenchman has informed his staff that he does not intend to walk away at the end of the season.
The report also claims that Wenger is unwilling to agree an early exit this summer, which means Arsenal’s board will have to take the decision to sack him if they want a new manager.

Why should he?
#1 - Best job in the world paying 10-mil per annum and no pressure from the top.
#2 - He wanted to see through his 5-Year Plan (2017/18 to 2021/22) to rebuild Arsenal FC into a title-winning team.
#3 - His main selling point is that he can control expenditures and met Silent Stan's requirement to be self-sustainable and generate at least 50-mil net profit per annum.
You lot is looking at his performance as a manager to win silverwares whereas Silent Stan is looking at the bottom-line.
"The idea is to be more unpredictable every year and be more difficult for the opponents to stop and nullify what we want to do. That’s what we have now, especially at the back and in the midfield the options we have, to open up the spaces, we have many more options than we had last year.” Mikel Arteta

Yes well you need to look at the fact that its costing £50 mill not to be in CL.
That those paying for franchises dont like empty seats as they are not selling food, beer and goods to 30,000 empty seats, thus there is a chance that franchisers will want to renegotiate downwards.
Sponsors also will not be impressed by empty stadium and lack of silverware, they are sponsoring for prestige not to be associated with a man who has gone ga ga, and is now isolated from the board, and not trusted by the team and most of his staff.

Did you hear about the Irishman who tried to blow up our team bus? He burned his lips on the exhaust.

In my mind it's not even an option that he'll be gone next year. He will have another 12 months to out it right I'm certain of that.

No top team is going to want Wenger these days. That's why him keep harping on about his loyalty to the club is laughable.

I'm not sure. Despite how bad he is, his stock elsewhere is still relatively high because he's infinitely connected.
For example, had he been at Madrid last year I think mbappe would have gone there. Zizou didn't have the managerial prowess to get him just enough to make mbappe starstruck but he knew it was the wrong move under that manager who would favour Ronaldo every time.

I disagree, he hardly worked his magic on the French international Thomas Lemar at the start of the season did he.
In fact he point blank refused to join Arsenal stating he'd have prefer a Liverpool move.
People have been wising up now for years. Remember Luis Gustavo about 5 years ago? He chose Wolfsburg over us FFS.
