Team against Doncaster - We have a thin squad to select the thin

Most of Arsenal fans are slagging Alex Iwobi in social media.
But he has a vital role to play in midfield and he is willing to run for the team.

Surely Wenger will rest players with an eye towards playing WBA this weekend?

Will he field the team against Koln and drop a badly off-form Holding?

Will he drop Ospina and play Macey?

Time to drop a useless Walcott and try our Nelson.

With Welbeck injured, Iwobi played entire game against Chelski, he may need a rest.

Or will Wenger field Pleguezuelo as LWB?

Tricky one to call as I'd prefer to rest Bellerin, Monreal and Kolasinac, but we aren't exactly blessed with alternative wing back options.

Ospina starts though, and Walcott.

I think this is Ospina's last season and Wenger will want to take a look at Macey, like what he did playing Martinez in the Tin Cup last season.

Will he start the forgotten man Debuchy as RWB with versatile Ainsley M-N going left-side?

With a tough and defensive WBA coming up this weekend, Wenger will continue to groove Alexis into the team and most likely uses him as a supersub to give him a 20-minute run-out to get him mentally right after his disappointment of not leaving for Abu Dhabi.

Actually, Doncaster are games that Iwobi and Holding should play against. They are still young and games like this are good for their continued development.

Alexis should have started against Chelsea, unless AW thought that he was still not 100 percent after his international exertions. I hope the old man rest Alexis for this one.

I think Walcott is useless, but he needs to do something for his inflated wage

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Surely we could do with someone to bring out the half time oranges.
