The only good thing about the Uefa cup

Is we appear to be seeing numerous promising youngsters being blooded.

Which is excellent news as other than the occasional Carling Cup game in recent years it doesn't really happen anymore with the squad sizes these days.

I'm impressed with a few of them as well seeing as all we've had the last season or two has been Iwobi and he's s.hit.

Good point, and most of them worked harder than the seniors. It also might give Holding a chance to regain confidence.

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.
