Team against Watford - time to score our first away goal?

Will Ozil and Welbeck play in this game?

Certainly, after his exertions in Latin America, Alexis will start from the bench.
Key question is will Ozil or Iwobi start?

I believe Wenger will field Ozil and is still trying to persuade him to sign a new contract.
Dunno but I prefer Iwobi to be given a run of games to boost his confidence and to gel with the team.

Ozil has bad body language and not committed to Arsenal, just wanderlust on the pitch after a few minutes and refusing to press and run after losing the ball. Just watch how committed he is to the team AFTER he loses the ball.

Wilshere?
Too early for him and Wenger will like him to play one more Europa Cup game plus Tin Cup against Norwich. Plenty of games for Wilshere to regain his match sharpness before he starts a league game.

Koscielny and Coquelin should be fit to play against Watford.

Watford, if they play an open attacking game at home, is our best chance to snatch our first away victory by outscoring them.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Koscileny has hardly trained over the international break but is ready to return to the fray in light of Shkodran Mustafi’s absence, after the former Valencia defender suffered a serious groin injury playing for Germany last week.

Mesut Ozil has also recovered from the knee injury which hasn’t seen him play for club or country since September 25, while Danny Welbeck has also returned to full training following the groin injury he sustained in the goalless draw against Chelsea just over a month ago. Sead Kolasinac, meanwhile, is expected to be fit after he was substituted as a precaution during Bosnia’s 2-1 win over Estonia on Tuesday. Wenger will make a late check on Alexis Sanchez who isn’t due to return until Thursday after he was involved in Chile’s defeat against Brazil which saw the reigning Copa America holders fail to qualify for Russia 2018.

As usual, Wenger will certainly start Ozil if he is fit.
Iwobi will not start and will play in mid-week game in Europa League.
Plenty of games to go round with Europa League and League Cup games coming thick and fast.

Alexis?
He will sit out and mentality, after WC2018 disappointment, will not be in the right frame of mind to give all.

Arsenal come to Vicarage Road this Saturday evening and while they are not as good as City, they still have brilliant individuals and are capable of running away with games when they turn it on. So will Silva compromise on Saturday, go back in the other direction and try to sneak a point? No he will not.

Speaking at his press conference on Thursday afternoon, Silva gave an impassioned defence of his risky approach and said that he would never change, no matter the opponent, no matter the game.

“If you like to play to win, if you have one clear idea for the players, I cannot change this idea in one week because I will play against Arsenal, or I will play against Chelsea or City,” Silva said. “You can change sometimes the strategy for the match. You can play in different systems like we did against Swansea: we played 4-3-3 and then with five at the back. What we can change is our strategy for the match, in some moments our formation as well. We can change many, many things. But our idea, our style of play, is impossible to change.”

Silva said it would be a betrayal of everything he stands for as a manager, and his whole career, to change now. He took Estoril from the Portuguese second tier and the brink of bankruptcy all the way into the Europa League – an unprecedented rise – with this style of football. It won him the Portuguese cup with Sporting CP, the Greek league with Olympiakos, and it nearly saved Hull City from relegation last season too.

Great.
If only our attacking midfielders can find passing channels and split open Watford defence with accurate through balls ...

I doubt Silva will play such an open attacking game and will most likely deploy 3-4-2-1 to soak up pressure and then counter-attack us with 3-5-2 to exploit acres of space left behind in our half by an ill-discipline Ramsey and poorly positional play of Xhaka playing just in front of our high-pressing Backline-3 with both our wingbacks stranded high up the pitch.

Our squad is full of dross. It doesn't matter who plays. Still expect a win against Watford.
