Calum Chambers has spoken of his pride having signed a new Arsenal contract.
The Gunners announced earlier on Wednesday that the centre-back had penned a two-year extension at the Emirates, committing himself to the north London club until 2021.

And in a message to the Arsenal supporters, the 22-year-old has vowed to do all he can to repay the faith they have shown in him - once he returns from the thigh injury which has kept him sidelined for much of the season.
Chambers said: "Proud to sign a new contract with Arsenal. I know I'm still a young player and I want to have my best years playing for this football club.

Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has committed himself to the north London club until 2021.

The 22-year-old joined from Southampton in the summer of 2014 but spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough after failing to secure a regular first-team place at the Emirates.

Chambers revealed his "pride" in committing to Arsenal on social media, where he told supporters his best is yet to come.

Not convinced he will get better.

^That applies to the club as a whole really.
