Why not play him? He'd hardly play any worse than some of the shower of s.hite we're fielding.
Or do we just not want to kill Iwobi?

Can't believe he moved Gnabry on yet persists with Iwobi

I like iwobi. Think he'd turn out good under another manager. Eddie is more of an in the box player. Not a winger.

Playing players out of position so as to improve them is Wenger's specialty.

Wenger is obsessed with trying to create a 'Gem'. Thats why Iwobi starts and record signing, established goal scoring machine Lacazette sits on the bench in an away game against the current league leaders.
How does AW begin to justify that? There is simply no fru*king way other than hoping his nurtured golden boy becoming a match winner and all the press signing his praises as "developer extraordinaire".

He is still obsessed with Rinus Michels "Ajax Model of Team Building" and intended to carry on with his Youth Project for the next 5 years.
Win-win all round.
#1 - Wenger got to play happily in his sand box with his toys and live up to the expectation of William Shakespeare "Is it not strange that desire should so many years outlive performance?"
#2 - Silent Stan happily screwing Arsenal fans and fattening his wallet every season with Wenger controlling expenditures. Emos Phillips "My classmates would copulate with anything that moved, but I never saw any reason to limit myself."
#3 - Arsenal fans happily whingeing, moaning, grumbling and happily throwing their toys out of the pram.
#4 - Arsenal fans are really acting like voyeur against Arsene Wenger, wishing to see him naked. Everlyn Waugh "What a man enjoys about a woman's clothes are his fantasies of how she would look without them".

Would love to see this kid given a chance. At this point we have no hope of doing anything except top 10 so just play kids like him, develop them.

Yes, the only enjoyment for me nowadays is watching and hoping those youngsters will make it big at Arsenal.
