Player Ratings vs. West Brom

Cech - 6. Came for a number of crosses in the first half. Wasn't really tested in the second half but failed to keep a 200th clean sheet thanks to a dodgy penalty decision.

Chambers - 7. Nervy start before settling down. Harsh penalty decision.
Mustafi - 7. Pick of the defence with another all action display.
Koscielny - 6. Okay without ever really being tested.

Bellerin - 5. Failed to build on an improved performance last time out. Sloppy in possession and didn't offer enough going forward.
Xhaka - 6. Decent enough on the ball. Almost played Alexis in with one quality pass in the second half.
Wilshere - 7. Looked the most like making something happen. Good on the ball, passionate.
Kolasinac - 5. Struggled against Phillips before limping off.

Iwobi - 6. Came close to scoring twice. Always wanted the ball.
Lacazette - 6. Lively enough despite little support or service.
Alexis - 5.5. Barely noticed he was playing till he scored. Dropped too deep.

Subs:

Maitland-Niles - 6. Slotted in well.
Mertesacker - 6. Okay.
Welbeck - N/A. Not on long.

Penalty decision was harsh but yet again that was awful. Lack of rotation an issue yet again. Wenger out.

I'm looking forward to next season when Iwobi and Welbeck replace Özil and Sanchez.

When will Cech ever save a pen?

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

When will he dive left for a pen?

They will only kick it to the right

I am looking forward to Bloodbath July when the squad is culled/decimated.

We've won two of our last seven league games, and in that run we've played five of the league's current bottom eight.

You gave Iwobi a 6? Even a half interested Alexis was affecting play so much more than Iwobi. Iwobi should get a 3. Anyone can get that shot off, that's the only thing of note that he did.

We gonna end up 9th in the table if we don't strengthen the dross that plays. Its not Iwobi's fault, he is an excited small kid who jumps everytime he is told he is playing. Its Wenger's fault for keeping on playing him because he is thinking of the future.

Managers are only suppose to think of winning the next games, not worry about the development of the young players. The young players will develop on their own if they are good and strong enough.

I thought Iwobi was lively. His shooting technique is just horseshit

Apparently there are still loads of tickets left for Chelsea on Wednesday, a sign of how well things are going at the moment!

We will nose dive come feb. The teams we are winning against aren't playing like their life depends on it. Come the business end of the season they will.
This is evident in the last 20 min of the game where we find it very difficult to create any clear fit chances.
This has been a pbm for more than a year.

This wasn't the case earlier even during the gsllas days where would create chances but not take them
