At post match conf Wenger said it’s unrealistic to think that we can get 4th place after Brighton defeat

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

And we've already qualified for Europa league next year through the carabao cup so guess the season is over already. May as well announce he'll be leaving now, put Jens in charge for the rest of the season and give Wenger a good send off at the Watford game.

I believe only the winner of Carabao Cup will qualify, not the runner-up.
The slot vacated by the tin cup winner will go to the 6th place team in the league.
Similarly, only the FA Cup winner will qualify for Europa Cup.

Wenger himself once said that finishing in the top four was the MINIMUM requirement for a season.

This will be the second season in a row he's failed to achieve what he himself called the minimum.

Yes but Wenger is a pathological liar with zero morals, so finishing outside the top 4 is actually success now if you didn't know. After all he has turned down every club on planet earth to continue dragging our club into the gutter.

Besides as a football club we're still making a lot of money and that's the most important thing.
