130-Goal - We can't even score 100 goals for this season

We had only scored 79 goals this season with 9 more league games plus maybe only 2 more UEL Cup games if we should lose to Milan.

A tall order to score 21 goals in remaining 11 games?

throughout Arsene Wenger 22-year Regime, this season must be the most expensive strike force that Wenger had even bought in:
£16-mil Welbeck;
£52-mil Lacazette
£56-mil Aubameyang

£124-mil worth of strike force that so far, scored 5 + 9 + 2 = 16 goals amongst them.
What a waste of money.

After January Jittery, it is the perennial February Flops, March Madness and maybe follow by April Fools?
Our squad certainly has no depth to cope with injuries and fatigue comes another hectic Easter Weekend.

March 5, 2018 -- Round #29, Match #45
Brighton 1-2 Arsenal

Arsenal 2016/17 Results Break-Down:

Arsenal 2017/18 Results Break-Down:

… 10 ….. 3 … 5 … 33 … 19 … 14 … … 33 … Bottom-13 Result

Our results against Top-6 teams proved conclusively that for the past 10 seasons, we cannot challenge for the title and not good enough to fight for Top-4 status.

We are worse than last season against Bottom-13 teams with our goal-shy forwards and midfielders.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
The expectation for 130-goal 2017/18 season will be:
The STRIKERS are Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, Lacazette, Danny Welbeck, Alex Iwobi and Eddie Nketiah.
STRIKERS sold and out on-loan: Alexis Sanchez, Oliver Giroud and Chuba Akpom.

STRIKERS contributed ..... 46.84% out of 65% expectation … 37 out of 84 goals expectation.

We are out of Top-4 contention with our dreadful away form.
Arsenal is out of the title race in October 2017.

Man City is the only unbeaten team against Bottom-13 teams.
Table B indicated that winning a Top-4 spots depends very much on the ability of teams to remain unbeaten and to collect maximum points against Bottom-13 teams.

2017/18 ….. 6th ….. 13 ….. 6 … 10 … 52 … 41 … 11 … 45 points – Arsenal after Round #29

We can only collect 27 points by winning remaining 9 games to achieve 72 points, not enough for Top-4 finish.
Apparently, we are worse than previous seasons and cannot maintain our average 7 losses for the past 7 seasons.

2015/16 Leicester City proved that an inferior team can still be a title-winner by being unbeaten against Bottom-12 teams, and loses only 3 games against Top-8 teams.

Can we do a home run winning 10 consecutive games to regain Top-4 spot?

It is a race for Top-4 spot amongst ManU, Liverpool, Tiny Totts and Chelski with Arsenal effectively out of Top-4.
Tiny Totts is 13 points ahead of Arsenal and needed only to win 5 out of remaining 9 games to seal Top-4 spot.
Liverpool is 15 points ahead of Arsenal and needed only to win 4 out of remaining 9 games to seal Top-4 spot.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
During this 3rd Quarter, Man City, ManU, Liverpool, Tiny Totts and Chelski are maintaining status quo and just ahead of the chasing Pack.

Man City is still way ahead with a 16 points lead.
Man City wins the title in April by just winning the next 4 games.

Arsenal is in decline since a poor 2nd and followed by a worse 3rd Quarter results during the wintry months.
