I asked exactly the same question a couple of weeks ago Nick. I emailed the club and Ben Harrison of Tranmere Rovers Trust responded stating it is running but only upto the Dover game in September as the club/trust can not fund it after that. It runs three times from Lime Street outside St.Georges Hall and the times are 12.34, 13.34 and 14.34 returning at 16.55 and 17.40. The 16.55 is a stupid time as the games barely over. Might see you at the bus stop?

Thanks for that. Shame it's ending.

That 14:34 departure time sounds a bit optimistic.

Not sure I can make it yet but I'm hoping.

You can get 464 on borough road to queens square ,runs every 30 mins and get it to prenton park from the bus stop opposite the Shankly hotel

Just be aware that for an evening game, the last 464 leaves Liverpool at 1813. It then becomes the 164 which only runs every hour from Woodside. Alternately use the 487 which you can get from Liverpool to Victoria Park, although this only runs every hour in the evenings.

Thanks for the info regards the 464/164/487. I was planning on walking from rock ferry station to PP when TR1 finishes but these buses sound better. Cheers.

Spoke to the TR1 driver yesterday who is the regular guy who always drives. He said it is going to be reviewed in September so watch this space. The 5.55pm back to Liverpool was full so who knows what may happen!!

Got my fingers crossed. How will they announce their decision I wonder?
