Is it just me and my laptop?, but I am getting really annoyed with the large pop up ad that takes over the page, requiring me to reload.... I cant scroll past it or see a way to remove it.... I just know I will never buy clothes from that well known supermarket!

Rant over....

If my understanding of cookies is correct, you were probably on the well - known supermarket's website looking at the clothes you were never going to buy.

My understanding may be less reliable than a Tranmere penalty though.

Install an Adblocker - most of the good ones such as Ublock do not slow down the PC

Using Windows on a Nokia mobile no pop-ups at all, the only ads are at the bottom of the screen, I think they know how tight I am and will NEVER respond to any kind of advertising.
