Tranmere is nearer to Newcastle than anywhere south of Redditch and just like Newcastle it's near a river with a similar shaped bridge over it.

What's not to get Liam?

Apparently Notts County had a recent 100 grand bid turned down by vince so don't know where that leaves them. .

Has left by mutual consent so no fee payable. According to their fans he has fallen out with the manager so with him going I guess Coopers position is safe.

Official club statement is he has a medical issue.

Loosely construed as unable to continue to eat the vegetarian diet or sick of it
Official statements never explain anything

Can falling out with your manager be diagnosed as a medical issue and if so what is the treatment? Bin him off on the first train back to Newcastle?

Unless that is the medical issue is an emotional one, caused by not being allowed to go to Notts County for £100,000 which caused an allergic reaction.

Looks like he was a second choice for Notts County after they failed to land Cookie?

Wonder if that means theyve lost interest in signing Cook now?

Our problem is that Cook is only contracted until the end of this season and if rumours / reports are correct, he probably wont be extending his time with us?

Our big dilemma is, do we cash in in the January window or do we let him walk at the end of the season for nothing?

Trouble with cashing in on player's in this damn league you won't need a wheelbarrow to carry all the £££££££ in,more like a TSB money box or a National West 🐖 piggy bank.

Seriously, you think someone would give us money for Cook given the form this season. Don't think we will be offering him a contract at the end of the season for two reasons, firstly if we are in this league again next season we won't be able to meet his wage demands (assuming its more that £800/week). Secondly if we do go up he, along with most of the current first team, is not good enough for league football, even league 2, look how FGR, Lincoln, Cheltenham have struggled.

Notts County and Wrexham both tabled bids for him over the Summer and in the case of Notts County they mafe at least 2 bids for him.

Any money is better than none at all.

I just dont see him staying here beyond this season regardless of where we end up.

Lincoln are 10th in League 2 so if that's struggling let's have some of it.

Cheltenham are 12th

FGR 22nd

Palios was wise to do such things.

he has signed for his former club notts county today but his contract wont start with them till January, so in the meantime he will train with them and feature in their reserves.

Apparently Noble was offered to Rovers but Mellon didn't want him, stating he had other things he wanted to try?

Just read on Matt Jones's Twitter Feed.

Expecting to do 2 more deals by next week though, one of which is a wide player.

Since when is Nottingham in the North East?

FGR were supposed to have allowed his release for "family reasons" so he could be nearer family.

Well It probably is just a little bit closer!!!

10th in EFL2 as opposed to 15th in VNL, who is struggling?
