Looking at the 4 Xmas games I think 8 is the number points wise.
Anything more would be great
Anything less is no good to us.

We could beat Sutton and draw with guisley.

Eight points would be about right for a team intent on making the playoffs. Probably gain a point on 7th and just about keep up with the leaders.

I think the next 5 or 6 games will define where we end up this season.

noticed that we have 3 away games on the bounce in the first 13 days of the new year. 5 games we will play in january and 4 of those are away, including wrexham.

well since the Torquay game on the 9th Decemeber we've picked up 9 points
Scored : 10
Against : 2
not bad form going into the new year

20 points from last 9 games since loss at Aldershot
home P5 5-0-0 F17 A3
Away P4 1-2-1 F6 A4
Away form in January will be a good guide as to whether we can maintain our rise up the table.

It looks like January only features one home games of the 5. Fylde, Woking and Wrexham will be tough way games, but it should be possible to get a result at Barrow and at least two of the others.

Any of those are winnable and Tranmere should fear none of those teams, but going unbeaten will be hard and I can see it being a possibility.

Agree with Matt, no need at all to fear anyone especially the way we are playing at the moment....to win the league we must continue to be positive both home and away...we don't want to be even thinking about playoffs at this stage. We are the best team in the league by far, onwards and upwards. SWA.
