I think Shaun's contract is that he spends 3 months a year in China. He is currently back and working on other projects.

Shaun has been away from the first team all season.

The club announced it last Summer. Hes involved in rhe Chinese venture on a permanent basis and works between China and Uk.

This is old news.

Yes this is true, however I believe he would therefore still have some involvement in Tranmere's UK based affairs, as he has not suddenly become a permanent ex-pat.

I imagine he is probably glad to get back to Britain for a few weeks at a time, as I would imagine a plate of good old sausage and mash beats a plate of fried scorpion hands down (Sm7).

It seems that the Chinese venture and the fact that recruitment of garnett and I am presuming many other junior coaches is eventually going to pay off
When will we see the fruits of these endeavours is any ones guess but it appears TRFC always seem to be trying to be self sustaining and are at least trying to make money outside the on field activities

Surely a couple of loan players from Guangzhou Evergrande would be proof of the pudding.
