The Man Who Wasn't There Nottingham Debacle Ratings

A heavily rotated team with no manager on the touchline and no game-changing substitutes. Another absolute shocker to further tarnish Wenger's already well-tarnished legacy. Although the young players weren't exactly much better, the "senior" players were really, really bad.
The only positive I can think of is that the FA Cup has papered over the cracks for Wenger in recent years. At least now he has nothing to hide behind when we get knocked out of the Europa League and finish sixth.
Debuchy - 4. Got forward well a few times but was caught out of position a lot and made no effort to get back.
Mertesacker - 3. Ran ragged by an 18 year old.
Holding - 3. Got worse as the game went on.
Maitland-Niles - 5. Decent first half, linked up well with Nelson, but little impact in the second.
Elneny - 3. Offered nothing defensively or going forward.
Willock - 2. Completely overran. Absolutely no impact.
Walcott - 3. Apart from the free kick that led to Mertesacker's goal he did absolutely nothing.
Iwobi - 4. Thought he looked better when he dropped deeper but still nowhere near good enough.
Nelson - 5. Lively first half but thought he had a sh*t second half.
Welbeck - 4. "Scored" but was abysmal otherwise. Just look at the difference between him and Brereton today.
Nketiah - 4. Should've scored that chance he made himself.
Akpom - 3. Should've done a lot better with his chance.
