Another grim away day for Arsenal, nearly another grim weekend perhaps slightly cheered by the defeat of City at Bournemouth. Apparently the end of the world when Arsenal lost there without the advantage of 11 men. But juggle it how you like Arsenal cannot afford to lose many more points. Partey 5 was fine.
Saliba 4 could have communicated better with Gabriel for the goal
Gabriel 4 similar to Saliba
Timber 3 struggled big time. Couldn’t defend at all.
Rice 4 really poor I thought. Misplaced passes, didn’t know what to do in possession
Merino 4 we don’t need him in the team. We need an actual 8. He’s not as some fans told us.
Trossard 4 so so poor. Least I say the better.
Saka 6 only one trying to make things happen.
Havertz 3 very poor. Offered nothing. This is the type of game we need a striker to step up and hold up play, link up etc.
Martineli 4 very poor. Liveramento looked like peak Kyle Walker
White 6 showed he is by far and away our best RB option
It was so predictable. I predicted 1 nil or 2 nil loss today. Newcastle must think we are so soft.
Will Newcastle play the same against City and Liverpool etc? (no the barstewards will roll over. Editor)
Lacked so much today. Questions need to be asked of Arteta and our choices in recruitment over the summer.
We are in a top4 fight and it will be tough.
