Drogba A RESERVE on Monday?

Chelsea entertain Spurs this lunchtime and the official website offers advice to those fans who sit in the Matthew Harding Lower. Be careful what you sing otherwise you COULD be banned from Stamford Bridge for life. The anti-semitism campaign is being stepped up & there will be more uniformed police officers in the ground especially in and around the Matthew Harding stand. You have been warned.
Ballack is out, Essien a doubt and Didier Drogba is NOT available for another two weeks. Drogba is pencilled in to return away at Man City after the International World Cup Qualifying break in another game made for TV which kicks-off at 5.30pm on a Saturday evening. What is a surprise is that 'Big Phil' suggested that Dids will play at least 45 minutes on Monday night for Chelsea reserves in their first game of the season against Arsenal reserves - Didier in the reserves!!!! believe it when I see it!!! On Drogba, Scolari said, "I expect Drogba to be ready for the game against Manchester City because we now have 14 days for training, he isn't ready for the national team, so Monday maybe he plays in the reserve team for 45 minutes" Scolari has been given the run-down, buy the players on last season's dramatic 4-4 draw at White Hart Lane. Scolari said, "They talked to me about the 4-4, not the Carling Cup. They told me about the goal in the 88th minute, and how it lost the Premier League. They talked about some players and their quality and in this moment it is important for Tottenham not to lose another game. They play against us and want their first point, or three points. We know this and have some problems, we need to respect them." It has been confirmed that Tottenham have signed Pavluychenko from Spartak Moscow, whether he starts today remains to be seen. On the Robinho saga, news sources report that he has been left out of Real Madrid's squad and with the transfer window closing on Monday, Chelsea do not have long to capture their long chasing target. On Robinho Scolari said, "I don't know about Robinho, because it is not my job to talk about the players. They try to bring Robinho here but my job is in the pitch, and that is for our board. I need to think about Tottenham, not whether players are coming or not. I don't know anything because I haven't spoken to Peter Kenyon for two days. "He is a very good player, I think all the coaches in the world want him, but my feeling is Tottenham, I need to play against Tottenham, what happens outside the field is not important for me." UPDATE on Robinho. It is reported, Robinho has called a press conference on today at 11.00pm (UK time). At that time I will be on my way to Stamford Bridge for Chelsea's third 'made for TV' game in succession which kicks-off at 1.30pm.
Of course, we have a jewish owner and many aspects of the banter and insults chucked across between rival fans needs to be curbed (making hissing gas noises etc) but you would have thought Abramovich might turn round and ask someone just why the Spurs fans are chanting "Yid army!" etc...???
Should Spurs fans be chucked out for homophobic singing - calling us rent boys? Of course not!
Where do you draw the line? I think the only way anybody is ever completely going to erradicate racist, homophic or offensive singing is to ban singing altogether! A bit of common sense on banning needs to be applied otherwise even the banter between fans could disappear.
Anyway,..
Does seem strange that Drogba may have 45mins in the reserves but if he needs a run out....?
What I´m not clear on re injuries is Mikel - there has been no mention of him ever since he had an excellent match against Portsmouth?
Hopefully I will catch the Robinho press conference (within an hours time) - should be interesting.

"It is born out of hypocrisy and fundamental insecurity. There have been two kids on the block for the past 12 years. Suddenly, there is a third and that one is threatening to be more successful than the others and they don’t like it." P Kenyon.
