After Chelsea's crushing and dominating Carling Cup win on Wednesday night, it was the same dominance and goals that saw the free-scoring Blues hit another four past The Trotters at The Reebok. 'Anco' recalled to the starting line-up JT, Super Frank, Didier, Ricky, Cechie Boy and Nicolas Anelka, who was simply outstanding.
If it wasn't for the efforts of Jaaskelainen, Bolton's Halloween could have turned into a Halloween Hell, as it was, Chelsea had to settle for four.
SEVENTEEN goals scored and none conceded in the last four games, Chelsea sit proudly at the top Premiership, 2 points clear of the Champions, before next Sunday's clash at The Bridge.
Chelsea took the lead right on half-time when Super Frank scored from the penalty spot after Dids was taken down rather cruelly by Samuel who was subsequently sent off.
Deco scored Chelsea's 2nd after fine build-up play featuring the excellent Anelka. Carvalho whipped in a cross with the outside of his foot, only for Knight to head past his own 'keeper for Chelsea's third.
Dids scored Chelsea's fourth right on time after a Lampard back-heel set him up for a simple tap-in volley.
Perhaps it was the ease of the afternoon that Didier hardly celebrated his goal after scoring in front of the travelling Blue faithful.
Boss 'Anco' was understandably delighted with the result and the performance.
He said, "We are doing very well at the moment, we did a good performance today. It was difficult in the first-half because Bolton played a strong match and put pressure on our midfielder but at the end of the first-half we had a good chance on the penalty and in the second-half we maintained good concentration and intensity and we won a very important match for us."
Next up before the visit of the Champions is a trip to Espana to play Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

Atletico away should be harder - they will probably want to go some way to make up for the other week at the Bridge.
