Chelsea Fan Darren becomes European Middleweight Champion

Chelsea fan Darren Barker won the EBU Middleweight Championship on Friday night at London's Alexandra Palace, defeating Frenchman Affif Belghecham on an unanimous points decision. Darren already holds British, Commonwealth middleweight titles.
My sources told me that Alexandra Palace was packed out with Chelsea fans cheering him on and getting vocally prepared for yesterday's FA Cup semi-final against Aston Villa at Wembley.
Darren was decked out in Blue and White and had a Chelsea crest on his shorts.
There was a scare for Darren during the 7th round when the Frenchman caught him with a couple of shots that left Darren struggling, but Darren composed himself to go on and win the vacant title.
In 2002 Darren won Commonwealth Games Gold in Manchester and Darren is also a Multi nations champion and Class C NABC Champion.
My good friends at CFCUK have told me that Darren will (hopefully) be making an appearance at their stall, (opposite Fulham Broadway shopping centre about 5pm) with his EBU belt, before Tuesday night's Premier League game against Bolton Wanderers which kicks off at 8pm.
