Back to Brazil for Belletti - Chelsea All Set for Pre-Season

Juliano Belletti released by Chelsea at the end of last season has gone back home to Brazil after agreeing terms with Fluminense, subject to a medical and will join the club in August. I know of one certain lady who sits behind me to the left in the Matthew Harding Lower who will desperately miss Juliano. You can follow Juliano's new journey on Twitter @julianobelletti.

The new away kit has been unveiled today (Thursday). Based on the Champions League away kit, Chelsea and kit suppliers Adidas have gone for a Black Shirt with an Orange tang - here were go with the Terry's All Gold jokes!! (ED.... lol lol).

The new away kit will be available from Thursday August 5th.

The new away kit will make its debut in Germany when Chelsea travel to play Hamburg, days before the Community Shield meeting with Man Utd at Wembley.

Chelsea have four pre-season friendlies arranged before the curtain raiser against Man Utd on August 8th at Wembley and the BIG kick-off against WBA at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 14th August at 5.30pm.

The matches are:

Crystal Palace (A) on Sat 17th July 3pm

Ajax (A) Fri 23rd July 5pm

Eintracht Frankfurt (A) Sunday 1st August 3.30pm

Hamburg (A) Wednesday 4th August 5pm

ALL GAMES WILL BE BROADCAST LIVE ON CHELSEA TV

The Reserves and Academy have their fair share of pre-season fixtures and must not be forgotten, after all they are our FUTURE.

24th July Brentford 11am at Cobham

30th July Arsenal TBC

7th August Wycombe Wanderers 11am at Cobham

14th August Wolverhampton Wanderers 12noon at Cobham


The Reserves first League fixture under a new League format kicks-off at home to Everton on Wednesday 25th August.
