'Playstation Football' was how the boss 'Anco' described Chelsea's brutal destruction of a weary Wigan team as the Champions scored SIX for the successive match - fourteen against Wigan in two. Didier didn't get on the score sheet but he acheived a hat-trick of assists as Chelsea ran riot during the second-half.

To be fair to Wigan, up and till when Malouda gave Chelsea the lead in the 34th minute, Chelsea were never in the game and Chelsea never looked threatening and a six goal battering was never in a million years, forthcoming.

Second-half substitute Salomon Kalou joined in the fun with two quick goals, newly banned for 18 matches by the French, Nic Anelka helped himself to a brace and new-boy Yossi scored his first and Chelsea's sixth right on the final whistle.

'Anco' said after, "I think we are trying to play the same football that we played last year.

"We started very well this season and scored a lot of goals, showing good football. We have to know thay today was a tough game and in the first half Wigan played good football and put strong pressure on the pitch, maybe they spent a lot of energy in the first half. The second half was easier for us to have more opportunities to score.

"Obviously we wanted to win the game and to play well, and we did both. We won two games, played good football and scored a lot of goals but we are focused to play good football.

"It is impossible to think we are always to score six goals in a game, this is not real football, this is Playstation.

"It never happened to me, but we have to stay in focus for the next game, try to win the next game and show good football."
