David Luiz Benfica to Chelsea NOW confirmed

Chelsea TV have now just announced that we have finally clinched the signing of David Luiz from Benfica.  The fee was 25m plus Nemanja Matic who will move to Portugal in the summer.

The 23 year old force of nature will be the 3rd Brazilian in our squad and is much like a rampaging Carvalho (the best description I can come up with!).

It’s a major challenge for me but I’m determined and confident in my ability to adapt to this excellent league and I look forward to meeting my new team-mates.”
