Player ratings for 3-0 victory vs Bury

13. Rhys Taylor - 7, Very quiet game thanks to the Alex defence but solid when called upon.

 

2. Matt Tootle – 7, Did well on return from injury but tired later on.

6. Pat Ada – 8, Solid and threw himself into chellenges.

5. David Artell – 9, Controlled the back line, scored from a corner with a bullet header.

3. Danny Blanchett – 6, Another quiet game for the left back.

 

8. Luke Murhpy – 8, Excelent strike for The Railway men’s third goal and switched the play well with some long range passes.

4. Ashley Westwood – 7, Drifted in and out of the game.

12. Lee Bell – 9, MoM, industrious performance, commanded the middle of the park.

7. Clayton Donaldson – 7, Looked lively but no end product, missed several chances and hit a poorly struck penalty saved by the Bury keeper.

 

9. Calvin Zola – 5, Poor performance, won a few early flick on’s but was otherwise leightweight and easily disposed, looked off the pace before being replaced by Nick Powell.

10. Shaun Milller – 8, Hard working performance, closed down the Bury backline well, excellent finish for the opening goal.

25. Nick Powell – 7, Flashes of potential brilliance, won a penalty but spurned several chance to open his account. Improving every game.

15. Mat Mitchel-King – 7, Replaced Tootle, was steady and didn’t let the team down.

14. Dangerous Byron – 6, Late substitute little time to make any real impact.
