Snippet: Tottenham's Hutton set for Goodison move

Everton have agreed a £7million fee with Tottenham Hotspur for Scotland international Alan Hutton who is no longer in Harry Redknapp’s plans.

A run of injuries and the arrival of Kyle Naughton to the London based outfit meant that the 24 year old had become surplus to requirements.

But Everton have stepped in for the player after negotiations and it’s just a matter of the two parties agreeing personal terms.

Hutton made just eight appearances for Tottenham last season because of injuries.
