Pienaar happy to stay...

Steven says he is happy at Goodison Park despite reports of him maybe moving on in the summer.....

Steven Pienaar has spoken of his passion for playing for Everton and why Goodison Park is his 'home'.

There has been recent media speculation regarding the talented midfielder's future but Pienaar says he wants to be a part of David Moyes' side for a long time to come.

“I feel this is my home. The supporters have always been good to me and I always give 100 per cent," said Pienaar.

“I definitely aim to play here for a lot longer, why not?

“Talk of moving is only rumours and I am definitely enjoying my football here.”

Pienaar has scored six goals this season, including the opener against Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday.

And despite conceding a late goal in Tuesday's Europa League victory over the Portuguese, the South African is certain Everton will enter the away leg with confidence and secure their place in the last 16.

“If we can repeat the form we showed in the first game, we can definitely do it,” he said.
“But we have to be mentally and physically strong. I think we will go for them.”

The South African international joined the Blues in the summer of 2007 on a one-year loan agreement. Following his successful season on loan, Everton sealed a £2.05m deal to bring him to Goodison from Borussia Dortmund on a three-year deal which ends in the summer of 2011.

It will certainly be interesting to see what happens if he has a good World Cup,a big move to Manchester City?
