Mcshane Ready for return to WBA

McShane, who is on loan from Sunderland at the KC Stadium, told Sky Sports News: "When you are winning games it is always an enjoyable time. We've done really well and hopefully we can win on Saturday. "It has gone brilliantly. We have surprised a lot of people. The confidence is high and it is a really good place to be

"No one is getting carried away. The lads are down to earth. There is a great buzz. No one is a superstar. We are just a bunch of lads who work hard for each other."Of the clash against fellow newly-promoted side West Brom, McShane added: "We want to go there and win. But West Brom are a good side, so it will be a very tough game."

McShane spent the 2006/07 season at the Hawthorns, helping them reach the Championship Play-Off Final only to suffer the heartbreak of a 1-0 defeat to Derby.

Although he says he has some good memories from his season in the Midlands, he is looking forward to returning as a Hull City player.

"It's always good going back to a former club," said McShane.

"It was a good time for me there. It was disappointing to lose out to Derby in the Play-Off Final, but the season as a whole was decent and we had a good side.

"But those times are behind me now. Life at Hull City is going really well and we've been playing really well during my time here.

"I've been quite pleased with my own form. I'm playing at right back, which is a new challenge for me as I mainly played at centre back last season."
