Phil Brown is ready for the United test

Hull boss Phil Brown says he's ready for the test of Manchester United on saturday. Hull take on United at Old Trafford on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Chelsea. Brown said "We go to Old Trafford with confidence intact but we've got to minimise the mistakes that we've made tonight and maximise the performance,We know that if we bring our best game to the table then we can get something."
Brown admits the performance against Chelsea wasn't up to the usual Hull standard and that his side produced to many mistakes. "Tonight was poor by our standards. We didn't minimise our mistakes, which is very unusual for us. "It
was a horrible start to both halves. We always knew it was going to be
tough but to go a goal behind inside two or three minutes gave us
something of an uphill task. "It (Lampard's chip) looked a
sublime finish to me but you're going to come up against the quality of
the likes of Frank Lampard and if we had cleared our lines then it
would not have been a problem." Despite the comprehensive defeat, Brown is delighted with his team's start to their first season in the Premier League. The
Tigers sit fifth in the table and Brown admitted: "If they'd given me
that at the start of the season I'd have definitely taken it. "The
lads should be proud that they've got 20 points from the first 10
games. It's been a great start there's no doubt about it but now we've
got to get points in our next 10 games, that's going to be key."
