New Operations Director In Post

Newcastle United FC today unveiled their new Operations Director David Williamson. The 47 year old comes from a racing background after leaving his job as Executive Director at Newcastle Racecourse, which he held for 6 years. Williamson, who has spent the last 20 years in the North East after moving from Edinburgh said:
"I feel very privileged to be working for Newcastle United. I'm delighted that my new role allows me to stay in sport and, just as importantly, to stay in the North East.
People in this area have a great passion for sport, particularly football, and my new role excites me now end."
Chairman Chris Mort said:
"I am sure David will add considerably to the long-term development of Newcastle United."
