Fabricio Coloccini is 1 of just 2 players who have played every minute of the Premier League season for Newcastle United FC so far. The Argentinean International has shown his commitment to the club since he arrived in the summer & has put his all into adapting to the Premier League as well as offering guidance to the younger players he works with, including Steven Taylor and Sebastien Bassong.
Coloccini, who signed a 5 year contract in August, under the management of Kevin Keegan told The Gazette;
"I feel very good about my team-mates. Because of their age, I believe I can teach Steven and Sebastien some things, and we can help each other.
Steven can help me, and I can help him. We are a team, and it's important to learn from each other. This is my first season in England, and I am learning all the time. I am enjoying the experience."
He also praised current manager Joe Kinnear's coaching skills;
"Joe's a very good coach and manager. He explains what he wants, and the players are working hard to do it on the pitch for him and the fans."
In addition to having played every minute so far this season, he also played every minute for Deportivo's La Liga campaign last season.
