Shearer: Everyone Is Looking Forward To Boro Match

Alan Shearer believes his players are motivated enough to stay up this season and that despite last weekend's defeat and press interest in the Barton incident, the players are all looking forward to the match against Middlesbrough on Monday.
Shearer said;
"It's probably the biggest game in my career, whether it's Newcastle or anywhere else.
It's the same for the players, as we know the stakes. We know what can happen. It's a huge game, without a doubt. They won't need motivating for this game. They'll be able to go out there and feel the atmosphere. It's all up to us to try and go out there and get that win.
The mood in the camp's been fine, despite what happened at Anfield last week. We're looking forward to the game. I wish it was on Saturday rather than Monday, because it's nearer."
Shearer isn't the only one who believes that the fans support will boost the team in the last few weeks.
Midfielder Damien Duff said of the last 3 games of the season;
"Everyone knows this is a massive place and huge football club. We can just see by the reception we got from the fans in the last home match against Portsmouth - it was incredible.
We don't want to let them down and we don't want to let ourselves down.
That's why we'll be giving it absolutely everything to get clear of trouble and we're confident we can do that. I've been relegated with Blackburn once before. It's not a nice feeling and I don't want it to happen again."
