Newcastle United's away fixture at Reading FC has been poorly rescheduled to Tuesday 23rd February 2010 for an 8pm Kick Off. However, this is the same week that the 5th round of the FA Cup takes place, so should either side be successful in the 4th round, the match will once again have to be rearranged.

The new television schedule has dictated change to two of Newcastle's March fixtures;

Newcastle United v Nottingham Forest originally scheduled for Saturday 27th March 2010, will now take place on Monday 29th March 2010 at 7.45pm televised live on Sky Sports

Bristol City v Newcastle United originally scheduled for Saturday 20th March 2010 at 3pm will remain on the same day but has been put back to the later time of 5.20pm and will also be televised live on Sky Sports.

The FA Cup 4th round tie between West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United will take place on 23rd January 2010 at 3pm, meaning the two sides will meet twice in 6 days each playing a game on home turf as Newcastle host in the Championship on Monday night.
