Reading v Newcastle Could Be Rescheduled Again

Newcastle United's postponed fixture against Reading at the Madejski Stadium, which was prematurely rearranged to coincide with the 5th round replays of the FA Cup fixture list could need to be rescheduled. The original date of the 9th January 2010 was snowed off and the new fixture was announced prior to both Newcastle Utd and Reading securing their place in the 4th round of the FA Cup.

Earlier today Reading beat Burnley by a single goal which will see them play in the 5th round of the FA Cup on the weekend of the 13th February 2010. If that game goes to a replay the game against Newcastle will need to be rearranged.

Newcastle face no such problem after crashing out of the cup this afternoon in a 4-2 defeat against West Brom.
