Boro have hit a bad patch and we will be praying that continues for the next

Afternoon all
As Pete says 4 changes to the team this afternoon, Iorfa is banned after getting his 5th yellow on Weds so Doherty stays in after replacing him late on.
Edwards Byrne, vLP come in for Ojo Henry & Le Fondre

Bench: Ikeme, Henry, Wallace, Price, Ojo, Deslandes, Le Fondre

Personally I think we'll do well to get a draw this afternoon all things considered

Some sort of clash between Afobe & Amorbietta leads to a yellow card for Afobe. Otherwise fairly even so far. Byrne had an opportunity but put it into the side netting

Much better performance from Wolves so far, van La Parra and byrne playing well, although as is often the case the final ball is missing. McDonald having his best influence in midfield

Coady just been done a favour by the ref!! He took a yellow 'for the team' earlier when Hause was out of position following an attack. He has just made a stupid challenge on a Boro player which apparently could have merited a red let alone a second yellow!! Strange behaviour seeing as he has just returned from a ban

A much improved performance with a headed goal by the returning Dave Edwards. I expect Price to be on after the break to replace Coady to avoid him being sent off. So far no serious threat from Boro which is surprising considering their line up,

Doesn't seem like he's listening to you Pete!! Teams out for the 2nd half & Coady is still there!

Referee & 4th Official have swapped places - presumably due to an injury. No changes to team members so far.

To be honest I am expecting for us to get a thumping today; but so far... Surely it can't last.

Me too BW!! Certainly holding our own up to now.

Hause has just pulled up following a challenge which will be problematic, as we only have the youngster Deslandes on the bench. Price replacing Hause who will go off on a stretcher. Coady going into Centre Half position & Price into midfield.

Referee is being very lenient with some of the tackles coming in from Boro.

Downing comes on for Boro. Referee is finally getting the yellow card out & 4 of their players are now on one.

Wolves fans are getting right behind the team

Edwards releases Afobe who is stopped by an excellent tackle from Ayala. Van La Parra off and Henry on - not sure why!!

Henry comes close, bringing out a great save. Afobe just unable to score with the follow up.

Attendance - 22,006, and their all singing "Who's the w*anker in black" after more strange decisions.

Boro given too much time & space on the edge of the penalty area & Fabrini puts it in for them.

Wolves 1 Boro 1 - against the run of play ion fairness. I just hope we're not going to throw it away after all the hard work

Edwards and Byrne are both struggling now probably due to lack of match fitness. Afobe controversially called off side. Referee still rubbish.

Byrne makes a tired tackle on George Friend and gives away a penalty to Boro. Leadbitter takes it and puts Boro 2 - 1 up

1-2 Sod it.

Not good. Irony that George Friend was brought down

Ojo on for Byrne, Price comes close after good work from Henry

Have to say it's looking grim for both Wolves and Jackett.

Leadbitter fouled outside penalty area and the free kick is put straight in by Downing.
Nothing has gone for us in fairness in the second half.

Great. Another defeat and the already depleted defence loses Hause on a stretcher.
I think this once great club is cursed.

Corner taken by McDonald & Afobe's header is cleared off line by goalkeeper. Then Batth's header is blocked. At least we have had several chances to score today!

A battling performance this afternoon, but in the end class won through.

we ended up with a midfielder playing at Centre Half, a tired winger giving away a penalty, and we were up against a team containing David Nugent, Stuart Downing and Grant Leadbitter, all vastly experienced players, which apart from Edwards we have none of!!

Iorfa may not be fit for the next match, Ebanks-Landell & Hause are both injured, and Stearman is playing for Fulham. Madness!!

Morgan's going to have a tough time shifting the club in League 1.

IMHO this is officially a relegation battle.
