You have to go back to the 1969/70 season for the last time Wolves won the opening four games of a league season. Back then we beat Stoke (3-1) and Southampton (2-1) at Molinuex before Away wins at Sheff Wed and Southampton which both ended 3-2. Man Unt stopped the run when they came to Molinuex and held us to a 0-0 draw. Another draw and a first defeat followed before a 1-0 win over Spurs in the League Cup ended that three match winless run. However we had to wait until 11th October for our next League win which came again against Spurs and again it was 1-0.
Wolves 3-2 win over Hull last night equalled that 69/70 season's great start and has set up a great match for Saturday as we face Cardiff City at home who have Also gone four out of four. Ruben Nevas scored a screamer of a goal with Jota also getting his first goal for the club. Dick scored his second of the season to help secure the win.
