Stephen Smith

A collection in memory of Stephen Smith, the Wolves and England fan who was tragically stabbed to death in Portugal as he celebrated England's win over Croatia, will be held before the game.

60 of Stephens friends and family will be carrying buckets prior to the game and they hope to be able to raise enough money to buy New Cross Hospital a new incubator. Would all Wolves and Leeds United fans please give generously.

Thank You

Wolves failed in a last minute bid to sign a 'top' striker on loan, so Dave Jones will continue with Miller and Clarke in attack. Miller has scored two in two whilst Leon Clarke, an 18 year old acadamy youngster, scored his first goal in his first team debut against Preston on Wednesday.

Matt Murray, Joleon Lescott, Joachim Bjorklund, George Ndah, Vio Ganea, Dean Sturridge and Carl Cort are all ruled out of the game whilst Kevin Cooper will be forced to sit on the bench due to the lack of numbers, despite having a foot injury.

Colin Cameron who is suffering from a sore back will also have to play, whilst Paul Jones, who was at fault for the two Preston goals on Wednesday is expected to keep his place.

Paul Butler returns to Molineux for the first time since he moved to Leeds and the former Wolves captain will be given a warm welcome when he steps onto the Molineux turf. The game is fully sold out and Leeds have sold 3,300 tickets for the eagerly awaited game.
