Connor was part of the backroom staff which boss Glenn Hoddle wanted to keep when he signed his new deal in May but it has emerged that Bristol City are in talks to secure the Coach's signature.

Hard-working Connor, who was part of the coaching staff when Wolves reached the Premiership in 2003 has been at Molineux since 1999.

However Bristol City Chairman Steve Lansdown told their official website "Terry Connor is someone we rate highly. At the moment nothing has come of our talks with him, but we haven't given up hope that there could be a positive outcome."

Connor is held in high regard amongst the Molineux ranks but the one time City player may be keen on a move back to Ashton Gate.
