Priceless Lescott not for sale.

WOLVES defender Joleon Lescott is going nowhere, despite reports that Aston Villa are set to offer a laughable £4M for the highly rated Wolves Star.

Lescott has been in awesome form this season with three man of the match performances and his performances have sparked rumours that some of the Premiership clubs are set to launch bids to land the 22 year old.

However Wolves are adamant that the man - described recently by Paul Ince as a player who will "play for one of the best three sides in the Premiership" - is going nowhere.

Wolves opened talks with Lescott in the summer over the possibility of a new long-term deal, but like in most cases with players, the first bid was rejected with discussions set to re-commence soon.

Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle has said that he's not for sale - and certainly not for sale at the derisory £4M Aston Villa are set to offer.

Wolves understand that should they fail to clinch promotion this season then Lescott will almost certainly move on, but Glenn Hoddle told the clubs official website "Joleon still has two years on his contract and is not for sale. End of story."
