Hoddle Targets Strikers

Almost in response to fans clamouring to know what is being done to strengthen his crippled squad, Glenn Hoddle has finally shown his hand and confirmed two loan targets

Earlier today Glenn Hoddle spoke about his search to bring bite back to the Wolves attack. Widely critiscised by the fans for apparent lack of activity in the loan market Hoddle appears to share most fans view of Nathan Tyson seen as an up and coming star ready to break into a higher level of play.

"Another was Carlton Cole. We had hoped Chelsea might let him come to us and sharpen up before they lose Didier Drogba to the African Cup of Nations....."We're still working hard to bring someone in"

Cole is still an enigma to many, but logic dictates there must be a reason Mr Mourinho hasnt let him go permanently. Either could surely add some bite to a currently impotent forward line.

But the reality is, in the build up to our next home game, we are still left asking WHEN will a target sign? Talk is cheap, and cheap is not our best option.
