Wolves to review contract decisions

WOLVES Chief Executive Jez Moxey has admitted that decisions over players contracts at Molineux will now have to be reviewed following confirmation that Wolves would not make the play offs.

Several key players are out of contract at the end of the season with the most notable being that of Michael Oakes, Mark Kennedy, Vio Ganea, Paul Ince, Darren Anderton and Colin Cameron.

We reported last week how 90% of users who visit this website wanted the Wolves to offer Cameron a new contract despite the 34 year old being told he was surplus to requirements by boss Glenn Hoddle.

However Moxey has now added that all decisions relating to contracts, including that of Colin Cameron, would have to be reviewed.

Speaking in his now famous programme notes the Chief Executive said "When the decision was made not to extend Colin's (Cameron) contract we were still in contention for a play-off place. I think it's fair to say that this, along with all other player related decisions made to date, will now be reviewed"

The words will come at a good time for Mark Kennedy who recently admitted that he wasn't hopeful of receiving a contract extension.
