The Bluebirds have drawn Newport County away in the FAW Premier Cup Semi-Finals. The game should prove tricky for the holders, especially after Newport's impressive 3-1 victory over Swansea City on Tuesday.

The Bluebirds have been draw away to Newport County in the FAW Premier Cup Semi-Final following last nights draw.
County should prove tough opposition for the Bluebirds. They currently sit 7th in the Dr.Martens Premier League and have big ambitions to get back into the Football League in the near future. Newport boss, Peter Nicholas is excited about the tie. "Whatever side they put out it will be a tough game for our boys, but we are looking forward to the test." The other semi-final sees Rhyl
travelling to the Racecourse to face three times winners Wrexham. The Robins
take the Premier Both ties will be shown live on BBC
Wales Television and are expected to take place in April.

Newport
County caused the shock of the Quarter-Finals after beating struggling
Swansea City 3-1 at Spytty Park in front of the live BBC Wales cameras.
Although the tie was drawn to be played at Spytty Park. people are already
suggesting that the Semi-Final will be switched to Ninian Park.
Cup very seriously, and reached the semis after their first XI hammered Afan
Lido 4-0. Rhyl reached the last 4 after a penalty shoot-out victory over
Welsh Premiership Champions, Barry Town.
