West Brom manager Bryan Robson is planning to dip into the transfer market before the end-of-August deadline. The Baggies boss has already signed John Hartson, Chris Perry and Pascal Zuberbuhler during the close season but is eager to further bolster his squad before the start of the new campaign.
Meanwhile, midfielder Ronnie Wallwork is poised to sign a new two-year deal with the Baggies. Wallwork has 12 months to run on his current contract.

also Jason Koumas has been fined for the third time for failing to report for pre-season training. The Welsh international wants to leave The Hawthorns during the summer and is refusing to link-up with his Baggies team-mates. Cardiff is Koumas' favoured destination after spending last season on loan at the Championship outfit but the two clubs have not been able to agree a fee. Koumas has already been fined twice for failing to turn up to training and Baggies manager Bryan Robson has warned Koumas he will continue to be disciplined until he shows his face
