News filtered through from West London at 10.00am that the Baggies first game of the New Year had been called off due to a water logged pitch at Loftus Road. The waiting hordes of Megson's Barmy Army, eager for the game to go ahead due to the fact that Fulham were without seven regular first team players, made their way home through the rain. Albion's next competitive match comes in the 3rd round of the F.A. Cup this Saturday when the Bantams of Bradford City are the visitors. The Baggies next Premiership game is against Man. Utd. at the Hawthorns.
