New manager appointed

Following the resignation of Andy Nelson as Leigh manager, the RMI board have moved swiftly to appoint his successor ahead of Saturday's home game against Redditch United.
Nelson resigned from his position earlier in the week, citing "personal reasons" for his departure, just two games in to the new season, though that brought little joy in the form of defeats to Vauxhall Motors and Farsley Celtic.
Nelson's final game in charge after barely a year in the job even saw him dismissed from the dugout by the referee in Tuesday's 3-1 home defeat to Farsley.
RMI's board of directors have moved swiftly to appoint his replacement, with Stuart Humphreys, previously Nelson's assistant, becoming manager and captain Andy Roscoe becoming RMI's new player-assistant manager.
It goes without saying that on behalf of not only this website, but also the entire RMI support, that I wish the very best of luck to Andy Nelson in the future, not to mention new boss Stuart Humphreys.
