Young forward who joined Leigh in August 2010 having previously played for AFC Liverpool and under Mark Maddox at Formby.

Kearns' debut for Leigh came as a substitute in a breathless 4-3 FA Cup First Qualifying Round win over Rossendale United at Dark Lane on Saturday 11th September 2010. His league debut came as a substitute in a 5-1 defeat to Witton Albion on Saturday 18th September 2010.

Kearns made his full debut in a 2-1 Lancashire FA Co-Operative Challenge Trophy defeat at home to neighbours Atherton Collieries on Tuesday 28th September 2010, with his full league debut arriving a week later in a 1-0 win away to Harrogate Railway Athletic on Tuesday 5th October 2010.
