Former Accrington Stanley youth player who joined Leigh in August 2010 having spent the summer of 2010 on trial with the club.

Gerrard made his Genesis league debut as a substitute in a 1-0 win away to Harrogate Railway Athletic on Tuesday 5th October 2010 after missing the beginning of the season with a back injury.
