AS Airdrie 3-3 SCYP

Airdrie ended the season with a point in a tight game with SCYP.

Airdrie had an early chance as Brady Crossed into the box and Hetheringtion was unable to finish it off, SCYP cleared there lines. The visitors took the lead when a long ball was clollected by anderson who held off Cooper and fired home from 6 yards. Airdrie hit back and scored on the counter, From an SCYP corner Edgar collected the ball from Rowan and played in Hetherington over the halfway line he clipped the ball over the defence for Shaw to run onto, Shaw rounded the keeper and squared the ball across the line for Gray to tap home. Half Time 1-1

Second half Airdrie took the lead as SCYP made a defensive error. Gray picked up the gift before charging into the box and cracking a shot into the top corner. Airdrie stretched there lead further with 20 minutes to go as Edgar powered home a Kenny Pardoe corner. The pitch was taking it's toll and both Pardoe and Edgar needed to come off however with only one sub it was the latter who was replaced by Brown. SCYP pulled a goal back when Anderson was unmarked at the back post and headed home the cross. With 5 minutes to go anderson completed his hatrick and SCYP's cmeback as he picked up a loose ball and worked a shooting chance from the edge of the box and planted a strong finish past Rowan.
