Prediction League Wk 10 - Airdrie Vs Ayr Preview
By The Stomp
September 18 2015
After last weeks 1 - 3 derby win over Albion Rovers, Airdrie move in to two weeks of tough matches, that I think will go a long way to showing us whether we will be fighting to win the league or battling for a play off spot. This weeks match against Ayr is the opening salvo.
Ayr come to us with a number of ex-Dimaonds in thier squad Alan Trouten, Ross Docherty and last seasons team captain Paddy Boyle. The advantage to us, Bollan knows how at least two of these players play and has probably seen enough of Trouten over the years to hopefully nullify him, unfortunately we all know Trouten loves to score against us!
Gary has only one long term injury problem, Jim Lister is still unavailable for selection. Marc Fitzpatrick made his comeback against Rovers last week, David Van Zanten, Kevin McBride and Jordan Morton will be monitored ahead of tomorrows match.
In the Prediction League
The man in Black holds top spot but there are at least four players hot on his heels.
Airdrie fans are hoping for at least a draw by the looks of the predictions below and if your a gambling man it looks like either a 0-0 draw or a 2-1 win to the Diamonds is predicted.
